DECKast #51 x ALVA

I came across ALVA through soundcloud only a few weeks ago, and wow these two french producers have something special. They met two years ago at architectural school, and realised that not only they shared similar tastes in music but also they both played instruments. Not long after this, they began jamming together and learning how to use music software. They knew a bit about house music at the time but mostly listened to rock, jazz and hip hop. Their friends began sharing with them classic house producers. Few months after, they found a second hand technics mkII. They began to go to vinyl stores and started to collect both old and new records. They practiced mixing records they found. They then started to play at friends parties and started producing tracks. The duo's almost 45min mix is a solid array of groovy dance tunes that instantly make for a feel good time. Download it below...
