The much recently buzzed about, Anni T aka KID A is one real gem of a musician. I recently stumbled upon her through a post by The Fader. She's been around for sometime now though. With her sporadic appearances on releases dating back to 2008; Anni has a profound niche in the kind of music she fashions.
Her last summer release, PPPONEY OST, is one that should've not been missed. It's a beautiful combination of electronic soundscapes that contain Japanese spoken words wound up in a spacious abstraction of clicking pop. Her healing vocals can easily be repeated over and over. She is working on a new album with French DJ/Producer Agoria, entitled BLCKRSECHLL (Black Rose Chill). Watch out for that one, in the meantime stream and download her pervious album via bandcamp.
