I know im a little late on this one but Tri Angle Records recently put out a free mixtape from UK beat-trapper, Evian Christ. Boy, is this one amazing. It's a drugging beat collage of heavy post-party tunes, that have this sense of lucidity in its use of swirling tones and textures. Mr.Christ even takes a sample from a haunting Grouper tune and intertwines it with a upright funky post-footwork rhythm in his second to last track on the release, 'Thrown Like Jacks'.
