Rekchampa - Pocket the Rest
Rekchampa has a new installment of tunes going by the title of, Pocket the Rest, which was most recently released on Two Circle Records. The mellow vibin' downtempo mantras lend the mind to the backseat, unwinding those wonky basslines, and letting them permeate through the grooves of the brain leaving a sensational impression with each of the numbers in its series. Nothing less expected from Stefan, he is doing what he does the finest. Purchase the whole thing for 5$ and support this fine sound over at the record labels bandcamp. Also stream the whole thing below. Here's, 'Baby Cheesus', a track off the release that Stefan was kind enough to premiere on That's Deck earlier this year (just in case you missed it)...

Beat Culture - 'Midori'
[via]
Beat Culture got at my inbox with a new tune off of his upcoming LP, Tokyo Dreamer, entitled, 'Midori'. Sound-scaping waves and romanticizing swooning voice samples from Beyonce if I'm not mistaken. Very neat. Check out the video SYNESTHESIAE FILMS made for the track. Incredible work as always. The LP is due on Bad Panda Records January 15.

Doldrums - 'Im Homesick Sittin' Up Here In My Satellite'
Hailing from Montreal Canada; Eric Woodhead aka Doldrums, releases his debut EP, Empire Sound, on the No Pain In Pop label. The sound collaging psychedelic-pop producer strips away from every genre, feeling, and character; forming a cult of formulating experiments that are somewhat resemblant to that of Panda Bear, How To Dress Well, and simliar masters of the current musical atmosphere. The incredibly out-of the blue vocals and rhythms running alongside the layered abstracting fine-tuned samples, is among the few simulations Doldrums shares with the gods. He's loud and he's not afraid to show it. Eric creates sounds into creatures that are free of time and settlers of a far away galaxy where his all-mighty tenor vocals are the center of its universe. Everything this dude has brought to the plate thus far has been incredible, including his remix on Portishead's new 12", Chase The Tear. His 6-track EP has been lingering around on his soundcloud for months now and finally has seen the light. The EP's second number, 'I'm Homesick Sittin' Up Here In My Satellite', spews of staggering drumline cadences and horn-line rifts that lift Mr.Woodhead's youthful vocals above and beyond the stars and towards those satellites. If this song leaves you thirsting for more Doldrum material, fret not, for all of it is up for free on his soundcloud! Download or purchase the entire EP over here or here.

Nifkin - Caught me Red-Bearded
The highly overlooked, Nifkin, released his debut album today entitled, Caught Me Red-Bearded. The 10-track piece subdues itself in minimalistic soundscapes and obscuring rhythms that sum up a very nice first masterpiece by the man. Highly doubtful at first, the collection carries itself towards tracks like, 'Rawist Dub', where dark dubby bass rackets and hubbubs enter the listening atmosphere, forming an uplifting complex of sound. This complex echoes for acres in Molle's compositions. He showcases everything in raw and gritty audible form making a nice continuation of solid tunes, beginning to end. The finalizing track, 'Deb Roda ft. Detlof', is the longest and most golden out of the 10. Avant-garde claps, haunting synths, and a formulated rotation of rhythmic soul. This one reaches far into the galaxies. Sweden always reels in the finest of talent. My boy Nifkin & the rest of the Pom Peri Posse crew, are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Download the whole album at a 'name your price' deal on his bandcamp.

Twin Sister - 'Kimmi in a Rice Field' (Balam Acab Remix)
Balam Acab has been on a roll with his remixes and most recently he served up a remix of Twin Sister's, 'Kimmi in a Rice Field'. He stretches out the song into what you'd expect from his previous reworks. But this ones a tad bit more intriguing for some reason. Clocking in at 3:17 the tune's high-reverbed and a loosley dubbed swaying feel cloaks the mind, body, and soul with a persistent progression of clicks, pops, and synths. Check it...

Onra - 'No Matter What'
Onra gives a second teaser off his upcoming, Chinoseries pt.2, entitled 'No Matter What'. The sequel mixtape will be avaible on All City Records November 15. The teaser tune
takes you into the beatifically colorful world of Arnaud and his hard-looping, hip-hop fielding instrumentals. Download 'A New Dynasty', which is another banger off this upcoming via XLR8R. From what I've heard so far this may be better than the collection in the first Chinoseries...

Sea Oleena - Sleeplessness
Earlier this year I was exposed to the beautiful sounds of Sea Oleena. The Canadian song writer/producer, Charlotte Oleena, explores a spectrum of melody and vocal that has been touched on by a few past favorites; Bat For Lashes and Mirah, but in it's most broken-down form. Ms.Oleena has a cure for any kind of feeling, her chimey simplistic nature hymns and sky reaching reverbs, create a revised type of rhythm and blue. Each one of her tracks are incredibly easy to listen to, they are consistent, and thats why you cant go wrong her sound. Perfect for winding-down and thinking. Get all of her releases over at her bandcamp, I highly suggest it. Here's her most recent release, Sleeplessness, which you can download at a 'name your price' deal...
