//Tense// - 'Pleasure Games'
Night glammer Robert aka Tense from Texas, is one dude worth lending your ears to. First discovered him about a month ago when he uploaded this 10min orchestration of sexy synth-wave material, reminding me of 1980s film soundtrack, Blade Runner, with its strikingly resembling ambient textures and flourishing synths. This track escalades into a night jam of shoulder shaking and feet twerking; perfect song for the Blade Runner film if there was a scene with an underground club. Check this and more on his soundcloud.

Walls - 'Sunporch'
Kompakt duo, Walls (Allez Allez and Banjo or Freakout), released their second album, Coracle, yesterday. Their mystifying single, 'Sunporch', has been posted in my iTunes library for far too long now and I thought it would be a perfect time to shed some light on it. The albums most upbeat tune, uplifts and soars over a healing house pumper that swoons in and out of a cerebral vortex of a sound. Its so beautiful. Purchase the single over here and their new astounding album over here.

Pom Peri Posse
Sweden collective, Pom Peri Posse, is one hell of an overlooked bunch with their self produced and self organized gallery of tunes, beat phrases, and instrumentals. The cast comprises of four exceptionally talented electronic constructors; bass abstractionist, Nifkin, feel-good hip-hopper, Fresh Jonte, rhythmic fiend, Tony Devotion, and two-stepper king, Larus Ridibundus. Each one of these dudes have a numerous amount of tracks on their soundclouds as well as collaborations uploaded on their collective soundcloud. It's an incredible amount of great stuff coming from these guys and I highly recommend you feed your ears with all they have to offer. Here's some of my favorites by each of the members...

DECKast #17 x Jay Curry
For this issue of the DECKast we got Jay Curry in the mix. He has put together a compilation of party staters and leg movers for your head to bop and rock to. If this doesn't get you moving, I don't know what will. Trey begins the mix with a beach dazing nostalgia that slowly pans into some boogie down dance numbers, and ties it all together ending with some gritty ass hip-hoppin ditties. Real fun one. He made some really dope art for this as well check it here. Here's what the man himself had to say about his 'Tropical Trap' of a mix...
"I did this mix over a month's span. I redid it a couple times, so i could get the right songs in there i was feeling at the time. I have a new Vince Staples verse on there that's unreleased. Produced by me. Tropical Trap. I hope everyone enjoys it. Thanks ThatsDeck.com"

ASAP Rocky - 'Wassup' + 'Peso'
So I've been on Clams Casino a lot lately and I just can't seem to get enough of his beats. There's something really great about his instrumentals when paired up with rapper ASAP Rocky. This is unusual for me to post but the hype got the best of me and I can't get off of it. 'Wassup' (prod. Clams Casino) and 'Peso'(prod. Ty beats) are both two rap tunes to have entered the atmosphere of hip-hop at a primetime. Tension free, worry free, and swag pulsed. They are the most trillest chillwavin' raps you'll hear in a mintue...

Good Sport - And Now We Are Talking EP
Pittsburgh solo dude, Good Sport aka Ryan Hizer, takes on another project different from the ones he's already associated with, including Librarians and Drunk and Hungry, on the Garbage Days label. This debut EP entitled, And Now We Are Talking, ranges from hazy and lazy lo-fi popping garage tunes to droned out and easily heard well rounded rhythms. He gives you his sound in raw form and it plays out very nicely with his resounding cascading vocals and harmonies. Download the whole EP on his bandcamp or down below...

Christoph El' Truento - 'Moonjumping'
Christoph El' Truento serves up a 14 min time elapsing mind-bender. This complex ambient number makes the mind ruminate and explore the wonderful essence of different earthly tones and textures as well as their existence in this infinite universe. The track title, 'Moonjumping', halfway gives itself to a sharply airy space age ditty that releases the tension from the noise filled background just to set itself up again for more uplifting vibrations. Truly incredible. Download it off his bandcamp...

Shlohmo - Fine, Thanks
In celebration of Shlohmo's incredible success with his album, Bad Vibes, and fan likes of 10K on hisfacebook; he gives us a treat. Fine, Thanks contains nine experimentations of unreleased broken hymns, that Mr.Shloh has had lying around for a year or two now. Industrial ambience for those melancholy moments and wind-down aftermaths. Also, if you are in LA this Friday, the man himself will be performing his entire album at the, 'Bad Vibes' Release Party, which will be held at the Downtown Independent Movie Theater. D33J will be performing there too!

El Perro Del Mar - 'What Do You Expect'
The incredible El Perro Del Mar recently put out a free single on her soundcloud entitled, 'What Do You Expect' off her upcoming LP due out in 2012 called, Pale Fire. Right off the bat, the track fills up with a night flaring synth and dubby hollow drums; which is totally not expected from the elegant vocalist we've heard in the past. She has definitely got something new and perplexing about her sound that will seemingly be insane if her entire upcoming resembles this mystifying teaser below...

The Chain - 'Lostwithiel (Dub Mix)'
R&S records head duo, The Chain, came out with their much buzzed about, Lostwithiel EP, this past July and its some neat stuff. The Dub mix of the title track, 'Lostwithiel', loosely builds off its persistent bass chimed drums and stripped down dub-faced rhythms; timing its unruly electronic orchestrations to be on point. Tavvish - 'Once a Day'
Seattle beat experimentalist, Tavvish, is one guy worth listening to. His most recent track, 'Once a Day', stretches out at five minutes long only to leave you feeling like it was much longer. It's down-tempo fantasy chiming loop horn, wish washes and ties all focus and thought directly towards its uplifting soul teasing melody. It's one hell of a sound on this one. Mark Aubert - 'Oh My Darlin / To Control'
The wondrous beats of SF's, Mark Aubert, have always been an absolute favorite of mine, and like a dream come true he will be mixing in for an upcoming DECKast! In complete and utter excitement for this I thought i'd do a post on the guy. His most recent release on bandcamp has had me going for a good while now. The last of the three tracks features a double song in one. 'Oh My Darlin / To Control', bursts, excites, and can easily be recycled over and over again. Its real a gem. DRC Music - 'Lingala (featuring Bokatola System and Evala Litongo)'
DRC Music is a collective of UK producers lead by Damon Albarn, that encompasses top dogs like Actress, T-E-E-D (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs), Dan The Automator, Jneiro Jarel, Richard Russel, Marc Antoine, Alwest, Rodaidh McDonald and Kwes. The whole gang all recently made a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to record an album with Congolese musicians in Kinshasa, all strictly within five days. All the proceeds of the album go to the Oxfam organization to help aid to the thousands of the DRC's poorest people. It's truly an extraordinary project that this group of producers have created and produced. The album is entitled, Kinshasa One Two, while it contains fourteen tracks of african dosed dub-pop rhythms and soulfully rooted Congolese voices, that have each number of the masterpiece under its own experimentation. "Lingala", one of their select three tracks on soundcloud, wears its vibrant hollow bass reverberations and howls its Swahili sounding mantra into a sub-atmosphere of groove, dub, and minimal afrik-house. Pre-order this incredible piece of work at its entirety over HERE and stream a couple of the tracks down below...

Legowelt - 'Ocean Arrow' (RAP / RAP / RAP remix)
[via]
NY lo-fi hopper dude, Tiago Rodrigues aka RAP / RAP / RAP, recently caught my attention when Teams mentioned him on his twitter. The guy gives off this Hype Williams sounding vibe but clearly has his own interpretation of the eccentric sound. His most recent soundcloud number is one hell of a head-bopper. Its a lo-fi bass pumping loop that persistently moves and drools its sporadic timing to different and colorful dimensions. Real fun one.

Cloud Boat - 'Bastion'
R & S records newest member, Cloud Boat, released their debut single, Lions On The Beach, today. I haven been on this single for quite sometime now streaming it over and over again through the label's soundcloud. There's something just so incredible about the b-side of this release that makes it an instant classic. 'Bastion' plays part in a melodramatic number that slowly lures the listener into this bass and sub haven of emotive guitar strings and heavy reverbs of vocals. Such a beautiful and glorious composition. Can't wait to hear more stuff from this duo. In the meantime purchase the single over here.

Toro y Moi - 'I Can Get Love'
Toro y Moi's new EP, Freaking Out, is an upcoming on Carpark Records and its due out on September 13th. This EP is definitely a nice post collection of tracks that didn't make it on Underneath The Pine. Everything about this EP reeks of dance vibes. So up-beat and feel-good, who knew Chaz's chillwave originals would result in these chill-out house get-downs. Loving this new developed sound of his though, it brings such good vibes. The EP's closing number, 'I Can Get Love', is one hell of a night-lover, from boogie-down tones, to a rhythm that is ever so fitting for the mind, body, and soul to groove in. Hyperdub allstars, King Midas Sound, recently released their 12" of two remixes, Kuedo's remake of, 'Goodbye Girl', and Mala's remix of 'Earth A Kill Ya'. Kuedo's retouch of 'Goodbye Girl' is really something. The song first caught my attention when they released the music video for the track earlier this summer, and every since then it's been on repeat. Such an epic sequenced dub tune beginning to end, cannot think of what else to say about it but to listen for yourself. If your a fan of whatever the Midas sound crew does, this remix will definitely blow your socks off. Purchase over here when available. Stream at it's entirety below...
