Evidently different from his previous releases, this one defines his electronic musical career most proficiently. Crafting and mastering his sound to it’s fullest potential, he complies his mystifying essence with a spiritualized zeal that makes it that much more enjoyable to listen to. His dark dubbing escalations and bleary refrains have finally come to fruition and are in full effect throughout this whole album. Joy O - 'Knock Knock'

Joy O releases his two track 12" featuring, 'Sicko Cell' on the a-side and 'Knock Knock' on the flip side. This is out on SWAMP81 records and you can purchase it here. 'Knock Knock' wraps its rattling basslines around its obscure sampled vocals that climb up a pulsating cadence of bass based melodies, and they just don't seem to ever get old. Dancefloor feel-good rhythms for the win. God damn Joy O.

Juan Maclean emerges with a new side project under the name, Peach Melba. He sets up a series of 12"'s that he considered too "housey" for his normal realm, and as a result he fabricates, 'Can't Let Go', which is out now on DFA records. The original on the a-side and then 2 stripped down dub blueprints on the b-side. Such a fun track. This, 'Can't Let Go' (Dub), track is a steel drum pounding number that stretches its notes for a whopping 8 minutes and seems to never end. It's overwhelmingly catchy.
