Smoke Room - 'Steamy'

Good friend, Smoke Room aka Kyle, has steamed up a new free track on his just made bandcamp page. 'Steamy' rolls in a grooving bassline that fills the ear drums with hazy reverbs, crackles, and booms. Steamy sure is the correct word for this night-wave boasting fader. The progression of this one made me sweat a little bit. Mm good. Dont hesitate; right click and save below...

Update :: Kyle finally put up his, ⊕⊕⊕⊗⊖ ⿻⿺ [Smoke Room Vol. 1], mixtape. This is too great, don't underestimate. J-poppin' haze-filled beats. Show your support and purchase the whole thing for $5 or stream and download for free below...

Rekchampa - Fat Suit

Georgia's post-garage experimentalist, Rekcahmpa, recently released his 5-track EP entitled, Fat Suit, on his bandcamp. Bringing in minimal 2-stepping vibes and a spacious sub avenue of what we have began to call "post-dubstep", he manages to create a haze of futuristic rhythm and blues. Stefan mix and matches strutting vocal samples and spreads them across a vast selection of uplifting melodies, tones, and textures. Really great stuff. For more of his previous workings check out his soundcloud. Download and stream the EP at its entirety below...

Fama Eightyseven - Not Used Pieces [2010]

One of my all time favorite Russian beatsmiths, Fama Eightyseven, released a 2 part single back in 2010 entitled, Not Used Pieces. I thought I had everything from him up to date but apparently not, must've overlooked this one somehow. The two tracks seem to be somewhat everlasting with each listen even though they are just ordinary track lengths. Exquisite Soviet nu-soul beats for ears drums to absorb and to make your head bop ever so lightly. Trust me, these sounds will not disappoint. Check out his bandcamp and soundcloud for other free releases...

UK's chillout house phenomenon, Josh H, just sent over an unreleased track of his entitled, 'Waitin'. Russian experimentalist, Lapti, updated his soundcloud about a month ago with a golden re-work of Janet Jackson's, "Love will never do (without you)". The 4 minute cover warps the track into a different dimension, so moving and too damn good. Check it...

Teeth - 'Lowcut Champagne'

Finnish producer, Matti Pentikäinen aka Teeth, recently released his double single, CNT / Lowcut Champagne, on Noppa Recordings. The b-side features 'Lowcut Champagne', a dubby latin sounding groove with a hard UK funky vibe. The tune almost reminds me of some Joy Orbison and Ramadanman rhythms, stabbing rhythmical basslines and off-beat tribal stomps. Great stuff. Purchase the 12" here.

Don't know how I overlooked this, but earlier this year Teams did a re-work of Ghibli's, 'Mountain Time', which was featured on Teams' Collabs EP. Fine funky tune and an absolute banger for the dancefloor. In love with this track right now. Download the entire EP for free on his bandcamp...

CREEP - 'You (ft. Nina Sky)' (Planningtorock Remix)

[via]

Planningtorock reworks female witch-house duo, CREEP's track, 'You' featuring Nina Sky. The track is warped into a coach-locking bassline that underlies a demonic chant, and transposes Nina Sky's voice into deep manly rooted vocal. Quite eerie at first, but has a balanced danceable ring to it.

Machinedrum - 'Sacred Frequency' + 'Listen 2 Me'

Machinedrum gets ready to drop his highly anticipated album, Room(s), with his alluring EP, Sacred Frequency, which is out now on Planet Mu records. The title track 'Sacred Frequency' just happens to be my absolute favorite out of the 4 tracks. With a bass clenching beat and a topsy-turvy crystallined melody the song progresses into a chaotic mantra of grooving murkiness that drifts far into a galaxy free of all sound boundaries. 'Listen 2 Me' dips down into a underground bass haven of echoing voices samples and pumping fast-paced rhythms that leave the listener nothing but to sit back and unwind. Purchase the EP at its entirety here.

Napolian - Guns & Synths

I recently got word of Los Angeles based synth-smith, Napolian and his newest release, Guns & Synths. From the get go the 4 track EP takes off into a galactic space journey exploring vibrant stabbing synths and underlying post 80s computer beats. Whatever this cat producing on his end, is definitely speaking volumes on the listeners side. It's almost too cool and evocative for 2011. Synth swaggin and beat banging. That's it, let the music speak for itself. Download below and support this guy for a 'name your price' deal on his bandcamp.

Rimar - Higher Ground

Columbus, Ohio's nostalgic pop dreamer, Rimar released his notable EP, Higher Ground, last month on his bandcamp. I don't know why this isn't up everywhere in the music blogsphere already. It's downright boogie greatness. From nostalgic dance textures to funkadelic get-down haziness; the 9 track piece just doesn't seem to be enough at all. The consistency that this release creates definitely keeps the listener fully engaged from beginning to end, at least for me it did. Chillwaving mantras, rnb reworks, and summer gazing jams. Don't second guess downloading this one. Stream and download the whole thing for free below. Also, check out all of his other awesome free releases on bandcamp...

Sina. - 'All Alone'

Belfast UK's, Sina., recently updated his soundcloud with a new track entitled, 'All Alone'. Whatever vibes he's putting into his sounds is definitely working for me, easy-listening lounge electronica that can be listened at any time of the day. This almost 3 minute track smoothly pans out a lonesome heart-felt refrain that just works in every which way, from beginning to end. Delightful piece. Kouta - Orinda EP

San Francisco experimentalist, Kouta, released his EP, Orinda, earlier this year for a 'name your price' deal on his bandcamp. The four track number explores lounging beats and wavy rain-like creations that leave the listener feeling at ease and in complete utter tranquility through it's chiptune structured chillness.'Granola' was featured on D33J's guest mix for DECKast #12 and is in my opinion the most splendid off the EP. Don't pass this one up...

The Field remixes Junior Boys' track, 'Banana Ripple', off their new album, It's All True. I've been impatiently waiting for some new Field material and this remix definitely helped ease my tension. The original 9min album closer is taken and compressed into a bass pounding passer by that repeats and navigates throughout a totally new sounding track. Mattron rips

[via]

Long Island's, feel-good beatsmith, Mattron, is definitely one cat to look out for. I've listened to each track on his soundcloud over and over again, and I just can't seem to get enough of them. Simply wonderful in every which way, short, concise, and to the point. There are absolutely no grey areas in his beats. He is to be releasing an official beat tape sometime very soon. Watch out. T-E-E-D - Trouble (Lapalux remix)

Lapalux reworks UK's Hot Chip sounding Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs', 'Trouble', into a broken-beat symphony of grooving tubby drums and chaotically phasing tones, forming otherworldly rifts, ditties, slaps, and an entirely different style of sound for that matter. Thundercat - 'Daylight'

Thundercat prepares to drop his debut album, The Golden Age of Apocalypse, on Brainfeeder, August 30th. Flying Lotus produced the whole album, and from the two tracks I've heard thus far, there's no doubt in my mind that this release will be an absolute hit. 'Daylight' has a glorious universe of its own, shredding bass guitar rifts and spatial soulfulness the reaches all spectrums of its sounding resonance.

Fit of Body - 'Model In My Mind'

[via]

Atlanta's ghetto lo-fi member, Fit of Body aka Ryan Parks, recently sent over his track, 'Model In My Mind'. The almost 4 min minimal gazer seeps through an academy of droned out eeriness, taking the listener on a journey through vast reverbed nightlife sounding structures. It's a beauty, beginning to end.

Inga Copeland - 'Can We' + 'Trample'

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that Hype Williams has come to be one of my favorite artists this year so far. The duo, Roy Blunt and Inga Copeland are set to release an EP on the Hyperdub label sometime in July, which is going to be great but nothing comparable as to what Inga is fabricating on her own time. 'Can We' and 'Trample', are two of her jams that have been floating around the experimental blogsphere for quite sometime now and I just can't get enough of them. 'Can We' floors a haunting sample that repeats "never look back", and slowly throws itself into an echoing chamber of shrinking under-woven bells and chaotic reverbed sounds. Its mind-bending just as much as my personal favorite of the two,'Trample'. It has a groovy lo-fi bassline that stabs the ear drums and drops the head back into a mantra-like phase, embracing the listener with her funky Nite Jewel-esque get-down chanting.

Blawan - 'Getting Me Down'

UK's garage-tunist, Blawan, finally released his considerably notable sold-out single, 'Getting Me Down'.
