Yesterday & Today

The Field aka Axel Willner is going to be releasing his second album called "Yesterday & Today" on May 18. On the album Axel for the first time collaborates with Battles drummer John Stanier (my fav). After hearing his new single "The More That I Do", I know this album is going to be absolutely amazing. Willner still keeps true to his previous album by continuing the mundane sampling system but he mixes it up by heightening the rhythmic architecture. Check out his new single...

Tough Alliance's label Sincerely Yours just released jj's Ep. The Ep contains two amazing songs "my life, my swag" and "my swag, my life" kind of confusing huh? hahaha well jj definitely resembles in sound to label mates Air France and Tough Alliance. Nobody knows who jj is, he remains leave himself cloaked in mystery.

BPitch Control label has announced that Modeselektor and Apparat are indeed making an entire record together as the new Moderat. The song "A New Error" which is probably going to be featured on the record, has a main synth that resounds throughout the song but as bass and different sounds kick in its a real head bobber. check it out...
